The Global Peace Tower (GPT) is a project within the network or ecosystem created by *Atlanta: City of Peace, Inc. (ACP). This website, the ACP mother site + other sub-sites may contain copyrighted material. Such material is made available to honor great peacebuilders like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and President Jimmy Carter.  Their globally respected peace legacies have inspired hundreds of millions of people worldwide. All information on these sites is to help in Atlanta's transformation + for educational purposes. We are advancing the understanding of Gandhi, King, and Carter's historic contributions to cultivating spiritual development, peace, nonviolence, civil & human rights, and democracy, plus scientific, moral, ethical & other social justice issues. ACP works to help our Global Family get smarter by encouraging them to honor "Gandhi-King-Carter."  This constitutes a notice for 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. section 107 of the US Copyright Law. All is distributed without profit.

NOTE: The goal, presence, primary focus, emphasis, and inspiration for the Global Peace Tower, and all ACP projects & efforts, even BEFORE we incorporated, is centered around Dr. King's powerful warning & quote: "This call for a worldwide fellowship that lifts neighborly concern beyond one's tribe, race, class, and nation is, in reality, a call for an all-embracing and unconditional love for all humankind... We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late."

INFO COLLECTION: Atlanta: City of Peace, Inc. (ACP), and all its projects like the Global Peace Tower (GPT), recognizes the importance of privacy to our event attendees, supporters, and members. We do not collect personally-identifying information from our sites unless you choose to provide that information to us during the registration or petition process. We may ask for personal information at other times, such as when you ask a question or report a problem with this site. If you contact the staff, we may keep a record of that session or correspondence, including a record of your e-mail address. We may occasionally ask users to complete surveys for research purposes. We may also capture IP addresses, domain names, and similar items regarding users of this site to measure the number of visits, pages visited, the average time spent on this site, and similar items. We will never disclose your personal information collected through this site to third parties without first informing you of such a change in our disclosure practices and providing you a choice regarding such disclosure.

EVENTS & ATTENDANCE: Regarding ALL activities and events we host... All attendees and participants of any event, and all, are hereby notified that they have, with their attendance decision, essentially opted-in to this following agreement; that group video may be used in a documentary, even though Appearance Release Forms may not have been submitted for every individual, plus that everyone shall hold harmless, indemnify, and defend the various organizations holding this event, along with current property owners, and its auxiliaries, officers, employees, duly authorized volunteers, and agents of each of them from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, costs of every nature, and causes of actions, except for the sole negligence or willful misconduct arising out of, or in connection with, our use of the property referenced above in the provision of services for any event.

GPT & ACP COVID-STATEMENT: Before you pack your bags to visit any prospective site of the future Global Peace Tower our peace organization recommends that everyone follow the safe guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) which is a U.S.A. federal agency serving under the Department of Health and Human Services.
